YOUR GOAL

As a Junior research engineer you will join the team that develops new solutions for the global water market. You will help customers meet sustainability targets, optimize plant performance, or reduce operational costs by reducing water and energy use. Examples of current projects are the application of green chemicals for wastewater treatment, designing wastewater treatment solutions for biofuel production and optimization of biogas production with new feed stocks. What else will you be doing? We have listed it for you:

  • Translating design problems into research questions.
  • Carrying out lab research.
  • Reporting and presenting research results.
  • Working together with customers and external partners.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a Msc degree in chemical, process or environmental technology or a similar field and have at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • This includes knowledge in the field of water treatment, being able to perform water, sludge and wastewater analyses, analyzing, processing and reporting data.
  • To be able to successfully fulfill this position, you must also have the following competencies: analytical, communicative, creative, curious and proactive.
  • You have a business driven mind set; the ability to interact with commercial and technical disciplines.
