With around 270 employees, we design and manufacture unique custom bikes in Varsseveld, the Netherlands. Our bikes are shipped all over the world and are both designed and produced in one of the cleanest and smartest factories in the country.
At vanRaam, we have strong growth ambitions, with digitalization playing a key role in making that possible.
vanRaam is a family-owned company, and that’s something you can feel in everything we do. We believe that “growth is something we do together.” This means you have the freedom to shape your role in your own way and the opportunity to show your creativity and initiative. The Idea Factory: Where Innovation Becomes Tangible
In vanRaam’s Idea Factory, this is where the real work happens. It’s not just an ordinary workshop: it’s a creative hub where craftsmanship and innovation come together. Here, we create and build solutions that make our bikes smarter, more practical, and more beautiful. Not just thinking, but doing, that’s our approach.
As Jolien puts it perfectly:
“The Idea Factory is our creative workspace where we experiment with new things to make our bikes even better, more practical, and more beautiful. We also continue to develop existing cycling solutions further. How do we do that? Our designers, craftsmen, interns, and graduates constantly strengthen one another and bring the best ideas to life together. Our dealers and cyclists themselves also play an important role. We don’t just think in ideas — as soon as we can, we test them in real life. Every solution we create must work flawlessly in everyday use. Off the paper, onto the wheels with the idea.”
